Bambo Nature diapers are quickly becoming some of the most popular diapers on the market. They are known for being great for babies, but do the claims on the website hold up in real life?
I’m about to tell you. There are a lot of great things about these diapers, but there are a few disadvantages you need to be aware of too.

Things To Consider When Choosing A Brand Of Diapers
When my daughter was pregnant with my grandson, she didn’t have a preference. So, I bought her several packs of small diapers in various brands. We tried them all out, and now she has her favorites.
She knows what works for her son, and for her household. There are a few things that you need to consider when you choose a certain brand of diapers to stick with.
Affordability
If you’re on a tight budget, put some thought into that. Some brands are cheaper than others. However, when looking at affordability, you’ll also need to consider the pros and cons of that particular brand of diapers.
Luvs are usually among the cheapest diaper brands. I bought a case of them. Then, we found out that the baby peed through them so much that we weren’t saving money, even though they were cheaper.
I wound up spending more money because we went through so many of them.
How Environmentally Friendly They Are
Consider how important being eco-friendly is to you. If you’ve already considered cloth diapers to help your carbon footprint be as small as possible, it’s obviously very important to you.
In that case, you’ll want to consider a brand like Bambo for your diapers. However, there are plenty of people that are not as eco-friendly. That’s okay. We all have our own thoughts and opinions.
If you’re not a fan of eco-friendly diapers, you’ll want to consider the other things on this list when deciding what brand of diapers to choose for your baby.

Availability
Now you need to consider whether you like online shopping or not. If you do, you can get diapers in a couple of days via Amazon Prime. Subscription services are also available online.
They automatically withdraw the money from your bank account and deliver diapers to your doorstep.
Without Amazon Prime, you’ll need to make sure that you order them in advance. This can be inconvenient, but you need to remember that you can find any brand of diaper you want online.
If you’re not a fan of online shopping, you’ll want to check out the brands available at local stores. You can usually find brands like Pampers and Huggies.
Most stores also offer their own brand. For example, you can always find Parent’s Choice at Walmart. Other brands tend to be hit or miss depending on where you live.
Skin Sensitivities
You never know when your baby is going to have a skin sensitivity to a certain ingredient. They might be able to use one brand of diapers, but not another one.
This is why purchasing a smaller pack of diapers to make sure that your little one can use them is a great idea. Keep in mind that this usually isn’t an issue with hypoallergenic diapers like Bambo.
There are other brands of diapers that are specifically made for babies with sensitive skin, too. These diapers contain fewer chemicals so that they are not as harsh on your baby’s skin.
What Are Bambo Diapers?
Bambo is a brand of diapers. They make diapers for children in newborn sizes all the way up to pre-school size.
Their products are made of eco-friendly material, and they pride themselves on all of the benefits that their diapers provide, like being great for sensitive skin.
In fact, there are so many great claims that the company behind Bambo diapers makes, it’s worth checking them out to make sure that they’re legit.
How Eco-Friendly Are Bambo Diapers?
The company claims that the diapers are great for the environment, and are biodegradable. They are, for the most part. There are a couple of ingredients that are used that aren’t the best for our planet, though.
You’ll need to keep in mind that the top and back sheets contain polypropylene, which isn’t biodegradable. Aside from that, these diapers are great for the planet.
Some will claim that they are only 75% biodegradable while others will say they are completely eco-friendly. The truth is, they are mostly biodegradable.
Some parents compost them with no problems. They’re about as eco-friendly as it gets when it comes to diapers.
Bambo Diapers Pros Vs. Cons
There are quite a few good things and bad things about Bambo diapers. If you’re trying to find the right diaper for your little one, it’s important that you consider both the pros and cons when picking the perfect diaper brand to stick with.
Pros
The advantages of Bambo diapers far outweigh the disadvantages. These diapers are eco-friendly, are safe for compost and they are great for little ones with sensitive skin. Once you start reading the advantages it’s hard not to fall in love with these diapers.
Great For The Environment
If you’re using both cloth and disposable diapers to help out our planet, Bambo diapers are worth considering.
Because they are so great for the environment, you get to enjoy the convenience of using a disposable diaper while still not making your carbon footprint bigger than it has to be.
They Come In Every Size
Some brands of diapers that aren’t available in every store can only be found in certain sizes. You won’t have to worry about that when your favorite brand is Bambo. They will fit babies from four pounds up to about sixty-five pounds. That’s a huge relief.
The Material Is Both Soft And Stretchy
You don’t want something rough or rigid up against your baby’s skin all day. This can lead to rashes, especially around their thighs. Stretchy material is known for being breathable, which means that your baby is less likely to get diaper rash.

Bambo Diapers Are Designed For Sensitive Skin
If your baby has sensitive skin, and you’re searching for a diaper that they can wear, consider trying out Bambo diapers.
These diapers are specifically designed to be free of a lot of the chemicals that are found in other brands. They’re clinically tested and are hypoallergenic.
Bambo Offers A Subscription Service
You don’t have to worry about constantly running to the store to buy diapers again. Instead, you can trust that they’ll be delivered. This is a modern convenience that you’re going to love if you utilize it.
Absorbent Enough To Be Used Overnight
Bambo diapers look really thin, so your first instinct might be to go buy some overnight diapers to avoid your baby peeing through diapers in the middle of the night.
However, you’ll be surprised at how absorbent these diapers are. My grandson will pee through thinner diapers, like Luvs, every night.
I picked up a pack of Bambo diapers before writing this article so that I could give my honest opinion, and you can definitely use them as overnight diapers.
They’re Thin Diapers
It’s pretty surprising how thin and absorbent these diapers are. One thing that I really liked about them was how thin they are.
When you have a bulky diaper, it can be a struggle getting certain outfits to fit. That hasn’t been a problem for me with Bambo diapers.
Cons
There aren’t a lot of negative things you’re going to come across when using Bambo diapers. However, there a couple that you will need to keep in mind before switching brands.

They Aren’t As Readily Available
A quick run to the local Krogers or Walmart in my city revealed that I would have to order these online. Scanning through articles online further proved that this is a common problem.
Some stores might have them in limited quantities. If you do choose to switch to the Bambo brand, ordering them online or using a subscription service might be the only way you can make sure that you have them on hand.
Bambo Is More Expensive
Bambo diapers are great, but you do have to pay for all that greatness. These are more expensive than most other brands. You’ll wind up paying $12 for one pack of 28 size-one diapers.
That means that you’re paying 45 cents per diaper. As the sizes get bigger, the diapers also get more expensive.
For comparison purposes, keep in mind that a pack of the same size of Pampers will only cost you 28 cents per diaper. Amazon’s brand of diapers, which is Mama Bear, will only cost 19 cents per diaper.
While this is only a few dollars per pack of diapers, it’s worth keeping in mind.

In Conclusion
When you’re selecting a brand of diapers for your baby, it’s important that you make the best decision for yourself and your family. Consider how affordable and available they are.
You’ll also want to consider your personal views on being environmentally friendly. If you’re searching for a reliable diaper that is great for the environment, Bambo diapers are definitely worth a try.
