Flower/Nature Names

Names that stay in touch with the earth are making a big comeback. These were popular when my daughter, Jasmine, was born as well. You’ll notice several of them on the list, such as Rose, Lily, and Willow.

Thankfully, the world is full of beautiful plants! Browse through nature-inspired names or the names of rare flowers to stay up to date on this trend while still giving your little one a unique name.

Traditional Names

Traditional names, like Stella, Elizabeth, and Victoria, are making huge comebacks. Think of the names of your grandparents to follow this trend!

For example, Nancy Jean, my grandmother’s name. Jean remains a popular middle name. Nancy also fits into this trend perfectly.

Either would mess well with the popular baby names of the year, but neither are trending baby names so your daughter would still have a unique name.
